halloween
halloween always falls on 31 october. it’s a holiday for children. on that day, children always wear fancy clothes and masks. and then, they go from house to house to say “trick or treat”, so that people will treat them with candies. if they don’t receive any candies, they’ll play a trick on people. but sometimes if the people are going out, when the children come, they’ll put the candies in a carved pumpkin lanterns. children will take the candies themselves. all of the children enjoy this holiday very much.

万圣节是西方国家的传统节日，参加节日的人们都要穿上各种各样的奇装异服装扮成魔鬼，去参加狂欢派对，并向“魔头”讨要糖果。现在，让我来说说我的第一个万圣节是怎么度过的吧。
星期五的下午，也就是万圣节的前一天，我装扮成魔法师，和爸爸、妈妈一起去了沃根学校万圣节的派对现场。到了那里，我发现人特别多，简直有点“群魔乱舞”的感觉。我还看见了几个同班同学也来参加了，他们的装扮一个比一个吓人，就像魔鬼一样。但最恐怖的还不是这些，参加派对的人谁都知道，学校内部才是“不看不知道，一看吓死人”的真正现场。那里“魔鬼”满天飞，整个屋子喷得到处都是逼真的血，还有许多的“幽灵”“僵尸”……平时非常可亲可爱的老师们也装扮成了魔鬼，举着被砍下来的手臂向我们打招呼，拿着被砍下来的人腿当拐杖，将砍下来的人头吊在了天花板上，现场气氛阴森恐怖。
当然，老师作为派对现场的“魔头”，也给我们送上了美味的糖果。派对现场还有许多好玩有趣的闯关小游戏，将派对的气氛一次次推向了高潮。知道吗，闯关成功的参与者可以得到自己心爱的小玩具，我就参加了好几个呢，并且得到了会发光的小灯泡、小牛角、大鼻子。
第一次参加万圣节派对让我终身难忘，回味无穷，我真的期待着下一个万圣节早点到来。

halloween dates back to a celtic festival called samhain. november 1 is the new year of the celts, who lived in europe more than a thousand years ago. this is the day which marked the end of summer and harvest. the celts believed that on the night of october 31, ghosts of the dead would return to earth. the celts celebrated samhain by dressing up in costumes with animal heads and having bonfires. many celts settled in britain and ireland, where the festival became popular. those who moved to america took the tradition with them.
nowadays, most people celebrate halloween but only for fun. they are not worried about ghosts. kids in america will dress up as devils or angels and will go from house to house calling "trick or treat", playing mischievous tricks and getting sweets. americans spend more money on halloween than christmas! in 20xx, more than hk$45 billion was spent on halloween. and hk$15 billion of that was spent on candy alone!!!
kids in britain also dress up at halloween. they visit houses, sing songs or tell a joke to get sweets. many go to halloween parties and play games like "ducking for apples". you must pick up an apple in water but you can only use your mouth. try it!

今天，我去参加了万圣节party，这是英语兴趣班举办的活动。
到了那里我都认不出那儿是我白天上课的地方了。天花板上悬挂着一个个南瓜灯，墙上和楼梯扶手上爬着许多五彩的蜘蛛，走着走着眼前还会冷不丁地“冒”出个魔鬼。天啊！这儿可真是一间可怕的“鬼屋”！
在场的老师和同学们也都装成了童话里的人物，有恶心的吸血鬼，有美丽的白雪公主，有吓人的骷颅头……
我们每个同学都首先领到了一张闯关记录卡，接着就开始了这次冒险之旅。
第一关是嘟嘴传吸管。第一个同学把嘴嘟起来，用上嘴唇和鼻子夹住吸管的一端传给下一个同学，下一个同学用同样的方法夹住吸管的另一端。这样依次传下去，哪一组传的又快又好，哪组就获胜。
第二关是踩气球。三个人一组，先把气球绑在脚踝上。游戏开始了，每个人拼命地踩敌方的气球，同时还要努力保护自己的气球。最后哪个组气球剩下的最多，哪个组就是这关的冠军。游戏中气球的爆炸声和同学们的尖叫声响成一片。
接下来还要“三打白骨精”、“我套套套”……
游戏中同学和老师们跳呀，叫呀，笑呀，尽情欢乐！这可真是一个疯狂的万圣节之夜！

我们班被分成五个小组，我们这一小组是坐一号车。
到了目的地，我们在摆满南瓜的门口拍摄了一张全班福，就分小组自由活动了。我们第一个玩的项目是飞船。我记得最清楚的是因为太刺激。一开始先转了一圈，然后一个一个圈子转起来，我的心脏都快跳出来了。
吃完中饭后，我们这个小组又去玩水上漂流。我和我的同学被水喷了一身，还好穿了雨衣。在玩碰碰船时遇到了几个没礼貌的人，他们插队，还好遇到我们这几个女侠心胸宽广，没跟他们计较，如果是他们遇到是莽汉或小肚鸡肠之辈，我估计够他们喝一壶的了。本来心情是挺好的，但看到那几个小辈，心就很不爽。我的心里也陡然来了一股阿q精神：本女侠不陪你们玩了，你们这些人真是没素养，好像从没上受过教育一样……
到了下午快三点钟的时候，我们几个都觉得疲倦了，就相互挽扶着出了园。再见了，我的长隆欢乐园！不想再见了，那几个插队的“大佬”！

一年一度的万圣节终于到了!我激动不已，装扮成了可爱的喵娘(喵喵喵)!牵着蓝仙女徐梦莹，和粉仙女徐丝萱，去到了“万圣之城”——花园城。
晚上七点，我们踏进门口，看见了一位红披风先生(工作人员)，他正在发糖。我们兴高采烈地排队去领糖，盯着闪闪发亮的糖果，馋得我们直流口水，心想：“赶紧吃吧。”随后，我们又碰见了一群组团去讨糖的队伍：这些人有的穿着黑暗公主服;有的披着披风，顶着帽子;还有的穿着白雪公主的衣裳……当时，我惊讶地叫道：“哇塞!这都有50人了，我们还是不跟他们的队伍吧。”萱萱和梦梦不约而同地点了点头，说：“那我们去哪?”妈妈说：“去集印章。”我们迫不及待地跑到“魔法中心”(花园城服务中心)，感受着万圣节的乐趣。
服务中心的“暗夜夫人”(工作人员)，给我们发了集印章的小卡片，卡片上写着一些字：“魔法”口令是：“南瓜灯，小鬼怪，不给糖，就捣蛋!万圣节快乐!”我心想：“口令真是别出心裁!”话不多说，我们赶快行动起来!我们马上在南门找到了“红披风先生”(工作人员)，盖了两个印章，有南瓜风俗，印章藏在了逃生入口，我笑眯眯地说：“要玩躲猫猫了。”后面我们分别从北门、西门顺利地完成了六个印章，换来了一根“权杖”和南瓜头饰，我们欢呼起来：“好棒!”万圣节的奇妙来历，你知道吗?
